High Tech, Low Tech or No Tech

High tech, low tech or no tech. I am so glad that technology has nothing to do with changing people's lives. Here in the Marshall Islands Pastor Anwi uses a keyboard and a simple amplifier to preach Gospel. On Langnaar were there is no power it is ukele's and guitars. No matter what though, when the people of God come together to worship Him the power still falls. It is not about how big your sound system is, it is simply do have the annointing?
Praise God for tools to share the Gospel. I am so glad though, that where two or more are gathered together, there He is in the midst. Praise the Lord, we do not need a band to praise the Lord. He is there in your house, and in my house whenever I call on His name He is there. He never leaves or forsakes us. So no matter if you have high tech, low tech or no tech He is with you. Be blessed today in all that you do.

CTC Training Pastors and Leaders for the Future

Good morning. I just wanted to take time to post a few pictures of our current CTC (Christian Training Center) class. These men and women are learing more about Jesus and how to be leaders in the church. In the above pictures you see that we have young and old, all seeking to learn. In our group shot above you can see most of our current class. We are missing seven from that picture because they are returning from the atoll of Wotje where they have been on a mission trip.
It is so amazing to see these disciples learn and put to use what they are learning. For us, it is more than just knowledge, it is the practical use of it through Faith and living by Faith. You can have a doctorate degree and not know how to be led by the Spirit or even how to pray. Christian Training Center teaches disciples to know the Word, to pray, and to flow and be led by the Holy Spirit. All three of these work by faith. Our focus is more than numbers or certificates, it is about flowing in the power of the Holy Ghost.
We see the Holy Ghost move in the class and are constantly hearing testimonies about the Holy Ghost moving in their lives. God is changing these men and women into powerful tools for Him. They are truly becoming bond servants of Him. To these disciples, it is not about air conditioning, desks, or even a building, it is simply learing more about Jesus. Please pray for these disciples as they walk with Him. Be blessed and have an awesome day in Jesus.

Testimony from Ebeye

In this picture is a man named William and his family. William came to us while we were on Ebeye to share what God was doing in his life. William is a part of the Overcomers prayer group that meets every morning at 5 AM to pray. He is just a member of the church. He is not in leadership but just a man seeking to see God do more in his life.
This morning he came and shared a wonderful testimony about something that had happened. He has been seeking God more and wanting God to do more in his life. One morning after prayer he was going back to his home. He was stopped and told that a woman near by that he knew was sick. So he proceeded to go and see what was wrong. As he was there he remembered what he was taught by Pastor Anwi and what he had learned from the Word of God. He remembered the scripture:
Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
He knew that this meant all believers could do this. So, he asked the woman if he could pray and she said yes. He then laid hands on her and began to pray. As he began to pray he felt warmth go through his arms and hands. He knew it was the power of God. When he prayed the woman was healed and made well.
It was so great to see the excitement in his face and the joy of being able to see the power of God. As he told us the story he was continually giving the glory to God. Wow, to me this is what it is all about. To see the men and women of God just obeying what it says in the Word of God. It takes Faith to move the hand of God. If we just do what it says in the Word, He will show himself mighty to us. William certainly is moving forward with God. This morning, I just wanted to share that with you, to encourage you to step out by faith and see God move for you!
