Almost There Praise the Lord

Good morning,
Hey it is Monday morning here in the Marshall Islands. God is still on the throne and Jesus is still coming again. The just still live by FAITH and the Word of God is true. YOU can still do all things through Jesus and His annointing. Praise the Lord. I am so glad we serve a good God, aren't you! Since I have been back the email has really been slow so I wanted to let you know, the Pointman is almost ready to go. Here are a couple of pictures. This weekend was spent mounting the engines and running the control cables. This week we will put it in the water for test. Once all of the testing is done we are on our way to Langnaar to take supplies to the people there. We thank all of you who faithfull support us here in the islands. This latest tool will help us spread the Gospel to many of the nearby atolls. May you prosper even as your soul prospers.

Don't Understand the Word? Pray!

Here is a picture of Kevin Aikum, she is one of my disciples in the Christian Training Center. She is studying hard and wants to learn more about the Word. She is Pastor Stanley's wife, pastor of Ajeltake Full Gospel Church. I want to encourage you today about the Word of God. When I was in the states I heard several times, oh, the Word of God is so hard to understand! I was amazed even with all of the different translations, people still have a hard time with the Word. To the point that they do not even try to study the Word but depend on other people for what they know about God. Trust me, not studying the Word for yourself can lead to serious deception and misundertanding about God's Word. Remember it is up to you to put the Word of God in your heart. If you put in in your heart it will guide you through life and keep you from sin, read Psalms 119:11.

Anyway Kevin is a diligent studier and reads the Word as much as she can. Yet because she was studying in Marshallese and in English it was getting a little confusing. That was, until she prayed. It came up one day in class because several students were having trouble with a passage of scripture. I just simply reminded them that the Holy Ghost was their teacher and would guide them into all truth, John chapters 14 - 16. So Kevin went home and read over the scripture again and simply prayed "Holy Ghost teach me"! She took a short nap and when she woke up she completely understood what the scripture was saying. Praise the Lord! So remember, when the Word seems confusing to you, just Pray and the Holy Ghost will teach you!!!!!

Honoring Mom and Dad

One of the Joys I had when I was back in the states was to help celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my Mom and Dad. Together for 50 years, a true testimony of what a Godly marriage should be. All of my brothers and families were there. From left to right, Paul, Scott, Dad, Mom, Tim and of course me. The only ones who could not make it of course were my family Shawn and the boys, they were in Majuro. At the celebration, many of Dad and Mom's friends came by to celebrate with them. It was an awesome day for everyone.
Dad and Mom have certainly been great role models for all of us. For 50 years they have set the example of what a marriage should be. Raising four boys I am sure was not an easy task. I will always be thankful that they had all of us in church every Sunday and Wednsday so that we could learn about our Father in heaven. All of my brothers are prosperous and have awesome families. We have never been without and God certainly has supplied every need we have ever had.
The example of following God, love and integrity has certainly been a major factor in all of our lives. Thank you Dad and Mom for all that you do and continue to do in our lives and once again may God continue to richly bless you as you follow him.

Back in the Islands

Wow. It has been a long time since the last post. Well we are back. I have just spent the last six weeks in the United States. It was a great time and I tell you it was an awesome blessing. Shawn and the boys stayed here and held down the ministry while I was gone. They were back in the states for the holidays. Our ministry has grown to the point that one of us has to be here to keep things on track. Praise the Lord! We need staff! It is an awesome problem to have, needing staff and a growing ministry. I give God all of the glory and honor for everything He is doing here in the Marshall Islands and in the Pacific!

On another note, I praise God for an awesome wife and three great sons. The ministry did not suffer in any areas and kept right on track. Shawn is such a gift from God to me and a great partner in the ministry. I have had many reports of things happening while I was gone, sick healed, devils cast out and souls being saved. That is what is so good about the Lord, it does not depend on any special man or woman, God moves when His people call on His name.

Upon my return I noticed several things in the natural, the cost of fuel is up, electricity cost increased by 33 percent, cost of food up 25 percent, basically cost of living all the way around went up. However my God shall supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory, no worries here. Even though those things went up, the moving of the Spirit has increased 100 fold, praise the Lord. Increase, increase, increase, the Spirit of God is increasing in the Marshall Islands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also want to take time to thank those new supporters and churches that stepped up to be along side of us in the ministry. Thank you so much for your faithfulness. To our home church and those there, thank you for your steadfast support in what we are doing here in the Marshall Islands. We know that all of our partners in the Gospel are blessed! Be blessed and have an awesome weekend in Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
