In the future we will need at least four more solar panels and another bank of batteries. Right now, here on Majuro, the power plant has three generators out of seven operational. It is a matter of time before we begin extended rolling black outs. Losing power here happens frequently and of course affects everything across the board.
Because of the generator problems electricity is now at 32 cents a kilowatt hour. To give you an idea how much your bill would be just multiply your kilowatt hours times 32. This will give you an idea of what your electricity usage would cost here in Majuro. By switching over we will save over $300 a month in electricity cost. That money will then be used to reach the outer islands with the gospel.
Those who have supported in this initial stage we thank you so very much. Please agree with us for provision to finish this project. If you would like to help out in this area, please contact us a firstname.lastname@example.org
