Rested and Refreshed!

Good day from the Marshall Islands.  It has been awhile since we posted and now we are back online.  As many of you know Shawn and I have been in the states during the months of February and March.  It had been just about six years since Shawn and I have been off island together.  For us, this was a time of reconnecting on many different levels.  It was time for rest and a time to get some medical work done.  The whole trip was an awesome blessing from start to finish.
For the first month we took care of medical and just relaxed.  We were able to take a seven day cruise and spent a lot of much needed time together.  It was such a blessing for us to have that time together.  For me it had been almost three years since I had taken a break and trust me I needed.  We also spent time in Florida with our family there and of course our church family at Winter Haven Worship Center (whwc.org).
Words can not express how refreshed we were during this time.  Shawn and I spent time seeking the Lord on the next direction for our ministry here.  Our time with Him was a time of chastening, correction, refocusing, and refreshing.  It was a time of refreshing our vision for what God is doing here in the Marshall Islands.  We returned not only recharged but with our eyes firmly on the goals that the Father has given us.  Praise the Lord God is so good!
One of the main goals if for Shawn and I to begin to minister together more and more!  Praise the Lord!  So over the coming weeks and months keep an eye out as we announce the changes!  Already since our return doors are swinging open in the areas that God had directed us to go in!  When correction comes just accept it and walk in the new direction and the blessings will come.  I love serving the Lord!
The entire family here are doing awesome but they sure missed Shawn's cooking.  We are very proud of them for keeping it together while we were gone.
Their are so many to thank for making the trip possible.  First of all thank you Winter Haven Worship Center and Pastor Jeff Connor for helping us in so many ways.  Thanks to all of our faithful supporters who are our partners in the Gospel here in the islands.  A special thank you to Steven Randall, who had a special part in making the trip happen.
If we did not see you when we were there we apologize.  Our focus was on rest and refreshing.  We will be there again soon and will see you then.  A special thank you to Pastor Jeff and Kim Connor our home pastors for your counsel, advice and help.  Thank you Pastor Eddie and Pastor Stephanie for your counsel as well.  Once again thank you to Winter Haven Worship Center and Family Worship Center DC (fwcdc.com) for all of your support.
Last but not least, a big thank you to Drew, Sarah, Cheyanne, Luke and Sammy who made our trip possible.  Words are not enough.

Running with the Vision,
Steve, Shawn, Richard, Travis, Malissa, Stephen, Terina and Kanani
