What are we doing?

Good day from Florida,
  We are on week three here in the states.  So what have we been doing? We have been getting some rest and taking care of some medical things.  It is a time to relax, refresh, reconnect, refocus and refire.  These first couple of weeks we have rested and spent time with family.  Shawn and I are praying and seeking God for the next steps in our ministry.  God has an awesome plan for our ministry and we are listening to the Spirit for direction.  From the 26th of February until the 4th of March we will be on a cruise.  Praise the Lord!  We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary early. 
  Of course we want to thank Drew and Sarah Pitts and all of staff in the Marshalls for making this possible.  Shawn and I are preparing ourselves for the next phase of our ministry in the Marshalls.  God is so good!  We are already making plans for changes in ministry and trips to the outer islands when we return.  If you would like to connect with us while we are here you can contact us at rikakisteve@gmail.com
  Once again Shawn and I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers and support.  You are truly our partners in the Gospel.  We give God all of the glory for what He is doing in the Marshall Islands and around the world.  We are laborers with Him in building His kingdom.  Please remember to keep Drew and Sarah Pitts in your prayers as well as the rest of our family there in the islands.  God bless you and have a great day in the name of Jesus!

Trip to Arno!

On the 20^th of January Drew, Travis, a few of the disciples and myself made a trip over to Arno.  It was a great trip and a time of teaching, preaching and showing the Jesus film.  We arrived on Friday night and setup to show the Jesus film at the school on Arno, Arno. 

Many people showed up to see the movie.  The equipment provided to us by the Jesus Film project worked perfectly.  We were able to show the whole movie before the rain started.  Before we could give the altar call the rain began to fall and we had to pack up.  The next day we received many reports from those who were touched by the movie.  Praise the Lord, the Gospel was heard by many.

Saturday morning Drew started off the sessions with an awesome message to the men of the Arno Full Gospel Church.  That evening Ryan Debrum preached a message to the people and I shared on vision with the church.  It was a great time in the Lord and a full day sharing the Word. 

The next morning we dedicated the leadership for the church and shared on unity in the body of Christ.  We prayed for the sick and saw several healed immediately by the power of God.  Sunday evening Drew ministered again and we once again showed the Jesus film to the people.  It was a great weekend sharing the Word of God spending time with the church there on Arno Arno.

Please pray for Pastor Waston and Jamie as they lead the church there.  We are making plans to go back in April with trips to several of the atolls there in Arno.  Thank you for your partnership with us.  You are truly helping to reach people for Jesus in the Marshall Islands.
