Graduation for ACA

Yesterday we had our awards and graduation ceremony for Ajeltake Christian Academny (ACA)!  What an awesome time.  The staff had everything prepared lined up and ready to go!  Shawn had everything on hand to be given out and the write ups for the awards.  She, if you did not know, is currently in the US with Richard.

Rairok Full Gospel provided the church, sound systems the works.  The ladies of Rairok prepared the
food and did all of the decorations.  Needless to say, it was first class.
There were big smiles all around as the kids received their awards.  It was even a bigger surprise to principal awardees and the I exceeded award recipient.

You could not contain the smiles.  After the awards we held the ceremony for the 6 graduates leaving our school and moving on to the 9th grade.  Arnold "GJ" Samuel was the valedictorian and did an awesome job.  He really pulled hearts as he dedicated everything to his grandfather, Corban Samuel, who passed away this year.

It was awesome and afterwards they were blessed in so many ways.

This year was an outstanding year thanks to the staff of ACA.  We could not do it without you all.  Here is picture of them but we are missing Shawn and Janet Waiti.  Thanks again everyone for all that you do.  To you Lord belongs all of the glory and honor for all that we do!  God bless and thanks for partnering with us here in the Marshall Islands.

Pentecost Sunday!

Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost and the birth of the New Testament church.  Wow and what a service is was, anointed worship, healing, deliverance and people baptized in the Holy Ghost.  Thank you Jesus for an awesome day.

Pastor David Aingimea from Nauru was with us and delivered a powerful message.  I thank God for the moving of the Holy Ghost.  The church is truly pulling on God for more.  It is so awesome to see the changes in people happening everyday.  Our God is a miracle working God!

You see the outpouring of the Spirit just started on the day of Pentecost.  It is still being poured out today and anyone who asks shall receive!  Glory to God!  It is the power that is needed to live a victorious life, full of joy.

Acts 2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39: For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Have you received the gift of the Spirit?  If not, it is there and available for you today.  Press in, ask and you will receive.  God bless you and have an awesome day in the name of Jesus!

Pacific Connections!

The kingdom of God is always moving forward.  Change is a part of the kingdom, and we at a moments notice, must be ready for change.  Since coming to the Marshall Islands, Shawn and I have certainly learned what change is.  From day to day we have learned to adapt and be flexible in a very flexible environment.  No day is ever the same on the mission field.

Over the years, we have seen our ministry expand.  We have done things and seen God do things that we never thought possible.  We came to follow the call, to do certain things, but we have seen God lead us on to new challenges.  Walking with God is always an adventure.  Last year, Shawn and I were able to come back together and rest. Thanks to Drew and Sarah Pitts we were able to launch into something new.

While back, the Lord spoke to both of us to begin pastoring here in Majuro, mainly to the English speaking community here on island.  We will still continue to work with the Marshallese, but a new phase is beginning.  Once we returned, wheels began to turn and doors opened to pastor at Majuro English Assembly.  We were so honored to become the pastors there.  As we have written before, nine different nations attend our church.  Glory to God!

Since coming to Majuro, several nations to our south have been on our heart.  Nauru, Kiribati and Tuvalu and other pacific islands nations have been in our prayers.  Over the years, this has never left our Spirit, and we knew one day we would travel to the south.  Praise the Lord! That time has come.  Through the members of our church we have begun to make connections with other island nations.  Just yesterday, another connection was made with a pastor from Nauru.  The doors are opening and we are going to the nations.

On the 29th of May, I will leave Majuro on my way to Brisbane, Australia.  On 1 June, I will fly to Honoria, Solomon Islands, and spend one week there spying out the land and establishing connections with indigenous Pastors.  The on the 8th of June, I will fly to Port Vila, Vanuatu, for a week also making local connections to pastors there.  We will then return to Majuro, via Nadi, Fiji and Tarawa, Kiribati.  God is so good, and we are excited about the new connections that are being made by the Spirit here in the Pacific.

We are not leaving the Marshalls islands.  We believe ,that through these connections,  that Marshallese and members of MEA will take teams all over the pacific with the Gospel with signs and wonders following. This is the last days. Now, is the time for the harvest!

God has already blessed us with one third of funds needed for the trip.  We are believing God for $2000 more for this trip for lodging and travel expenses.  If you would like to give toward this trip, please go to our web site at www.missionary-ventures.org and click on the "get involved" page.  That page will take you to where you can give online.  If you do give, please email us and let us know at rikakisteve at gmail.com, or if you just want more information on how to give.

Most of all, we covet your prayers and thank God for all of your faithful prayers and support.  You are truly our partners in the Gospel here in the pacific!

Drought in the Marshall Islands!

Images

We have sent out a prayer request before but we want to bring it to your attention again.  Many of our northern atolls have not had rain in over five months.  The water lens that they do have on a few of the atolls have become brackish.  At this time there is no rain forecast for that area.  Here in the southern atolls have had rain to sustain us.  To the far south many have had plenty of rain.  We ask you to agree with us for rain to fall in the northern atolls.

The president of the Marshall Islands, three weeks ago, declared a state of emergency for these atolls.  Some governments are responding with reverse osmosis machines.  Several survey teams have went out and surveyed the atolls.  The report is not good and in some place there is no water.  The people are surviving on coconut water from day to day.  There are churches in that area that need our prayers.  Not just for water but for wisdom during this time.  Many men and women of faith are still there sharing the Gospel  We as a mission are researching the cost of reverse osmosis machines.  We want to and are believing God for the provision to place machines in churches throughout this drought stricken area.  Here in the Marshall islands over 90 percent of all water is caught when it rains.  The Water lens is replenished when it rains.

Please agree with us for the drought to be broken and the rain to fall in the northern atolls and all over the Marshalls.  God bless and thank you for your faithful prayers and support.

The Spirit is Moving!

The past few weeks have been busy needless to say.  God is moving by His Spirit here in the Marshall islands.  Healings, miracles and provision happening on every side.  God is so good!  Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday (Easter) was awesome.  Full services and the Spirit of God is moving in every service at Majuro English Assembly (MEA)!
The Church is flowing in the Spirit!

After resurrection Sunday work began on the roof of the church.  It is now in place, solid, and no more leaks!  Praise the Lord!  We are now taking bids on moving the wall back about 30 feet and on the restroom renovation.  We are continuing to raise funds for these projects but as always God is faithful and providing exactly what we need!  Where there is vision there is provision.  Praise the Lord!
Children's ministry full!

We are also seeing an increase in the move of the Spirit in all of the churches in the Marshall Islands.  The river of God's Spirit is moving faster in these last days.  As fast as you sow, you reap.  Glory to God!  I thank God that He is ever faithful to His promises.

We are still believing God for our Nauru students.  We have raised 500 for their back tuition and we are believing God for the last 850.  We know God will do it because He is faithful.  Please pray for all of the churches here in the Marshall Islands.  That in these last days that will begin to work in unity more and more.  I believe in my spirit that the harvest is due and that we must work together to bring it in.  It will not be long before Jesus comes again.  May we all pull together around the world in this time so that all may here the Gospel.
Our Students from Nauru

Please keep our northern atolls in your prayers.  The president of the Marshall Islands two weeks ago declare a state of emergency for them.  They are in a severe drought with no rain falling for months.  Without rain things die.  Very few atolls have the ability to draw fresh water, most all water is caught when it rains.  Please take time to pray with us for laborers to enter the harvest field and for rain, natural and supernatural!
