ACA Award Ceremony

Good day from the islands.  Last Friday was the award ceremony for Ajeltake Christian Academy here in Majuro, Marshall Islands.  For those of you who do not know it is a Kindergarten through 8th grade school under our ministry.  This year was another great year for all of the staff and kids.  Many have progressed rapidly and others have overcome challenges in learning.

Shawn and I consider it such a great joy to be able to provide education to children here on the islands.  We have not left our base curriculum, Accelerated Christian Education, (ACE).  This program is perfect for the children of the Marshall Islands.  When properly implemented if makes a huge difference in the ability of a child to learn a second language as well as education.

We continue to specialize in those that other schools have given up on.  In almost every case those children have stepped up and excelled.  We thank God for being a part of their lives.  What make the difference?  It is a system that at the core is the Word of God.  An education that requires the student to memorize scripture to go to the next level.  Combine that with a staff of dedicated Christian teachers, success is guaranteed!

Like any school there are those who do not make it.  We thank God for the opportunity to try!  Praise God though that number is very low, less than one percent.  Now we get done to the credit for this wonderful work.  Number one we thank God for His blessing, provision and favor for making it all possible.  Number two, we thank God for an awesome staff who put in long hours to make sure the children have all that they need.   Number three thank God for my wife Shawn who was given the vision and who maintains the vision to teach children.

With all of that said thank you Lord for an awesome year and we look forward to the 2014-2015 school year!

Running with the Vision,
Steve, Shawn, Richard, Stephen, Terina, Kanani and Stephen III
